After installing a new mahogany front porch floor last October, we have waited for it to weather some before sealing it this Spring. I chose "Cabot's Clear Wood Protector" which is a deep penetrating waterproofer while UV protectant; resisting algae and mildew. It cleans up with soap and water so it is easy to apply besides giving long lasting protection. Great choice.
The old bicycle basket on the door holds last year's barn bird nests, our largest pine cones and some Spring ribbons.
