A New Septic System

We have been busy clearing Leif's land for a new septic system; taking down more trees to cut for the woodstoves here. So much more sun... outside & in.

A Modern Mailbox

Architectural Mailboxes offers this "Sequioa Black"; modern sturdy, cool design mailbox. It is heavy weight steel with a great powder coating, silver rivets, hexagonal magnetic handle and a red metal industrial steel floor inside! The suggested stand ordered from Amazon is a terrific weight and easy to install with a bit of mortar & stones. Leif used large creek stones around the base.

A lovely upgrade.
The transfer numbers are from Etsy's "Decal Phanatics".

Splitting, Stacking & Carting

One of three deep wood stacks split on Sunday. Leif will have wood for three winters since it is half the logs we have to split this Spring.

Christian's '07 Toyota Tundra rare 6 speed manual truck with custom leather interior, carts our wood and rented splitter around. It has been detailed by Brian at "Old Glory" in Hopewell Borough who is the best! As one of the first Tundras, it is much smaller than current ones and classic in looks.

Looks great parked in front of the 1780's barn although just the nose of it shows here!

Taking Down Trees

We are busy clearing more trees (2nd man & saw at top of center Ash). An enormous pine, four gigantic Ash, two apples, many large fallen trunks and oaks; nearly twice as many as last year at 30. All cut to 18" for splitting and burning this winter.

We will move the splitter to the log piles and moved a chipper to the branch piles...

and the chipped/mulched bed with some myrtle after.
