In with the spring ferns, I have placed two of Bill's sculptures which will soon be "planted" up at Old Farm in the hollow of a large Hinoki Cypress we bought and had moved to the front yard. The lovely well acclimated tree to the Cape will give us more privacy, while the sculptures will be wonderful to see facing the front yard.
Here is the Hinoki Cypress after transplanting. It was affordable because of a sparse side, where we will place Bill's sculptures. (Some other early plantings at Old Farm are equally "interesting" in shape as they have grown around things over so many years.) I love it's unique curling green foliage all year long.
