Bolstering Beds

I made these padded fabric panels (for less then $20) to add to the boy’s Scandinavian antique youth bed headboards, for the small bedroom at Old Farm. The panels are built using thick cardboard, two layers of 1” quilt batting, upholstery cording and fabric (I used less than a yard of left-over fabric), lining fabric (left-over white twill from the bed skirts I made), and sticky-backed Velcro. They took just a day to make, and I will love seeing the boys sleeping next to these headboards again. Please e-mail me for directions on how to make these.
